"Surrender" Boxy Tee

These shirts are screen printed on heavy weight, 7.1 oz, 100% combed cotton blanks by ascolour They are certified Vegan, amfori (for sustainable supply chain), and APF50+ sun protection. They are an oversized, boxy fit.
 
I made this “surrender” shirt thinking about how conflict is an energy that feeds itself, and that the only way out isn’t through but rather above. I like the idea that surrender isn’t weakness, and it isn’t giving up your truth. It’s giving up the smallness and the reactivity. It’s refusing to fight on a frequency that keeps the cycle alive. Surrendering the pettiness. Surrendering the need to win on a level that’s not worth playing on.
 
In this imagery, the eyes represent insight and their location within the palms represent action. The cat is because I believe that humans are — in their behaviors, fears, needs, etc. — just like any other animal (and cause I love cats 🫶).
