Booking Process and Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing
I've updated my pricing structure to more accurately match my current style and speed of work. This will apply to any new appointments booked after Aug 17, 2025. Previously scheduled appointments through Nov 15th will still be at my previous rate (i.e. whatever we discussed during your consultation will apply).

Full day rate (~6 hours of time together) - $1,200
Half day rate (~3 hours of time together) - $650
I take select smaller projects that will be quoted at a fixed price at the time of your consultation.
You can find general time estimates for large scale pieces below.

- Arm sleeves usually take 4-5 full-day sessions
- Leg sleeves usually take 6-8 full-day sessions
- Back pieces usually take 4-7 full-day sessions
- Large hip/side-body pieces usually take 1-2 full-day sessions
- Full chest pieces usually take ~2 full-day sessions

Payment Methods: I accept Cash and Zelle (no processing fees), or Credit/Debit Cards and Venmo (with a 2% added processing fee).

Tipping: Tipping is not necessary, as I aim to charge accurately for my work. Non-monetary gifts (food, crafts, plants etc.) are always very appreciated and loved if you feel compelled to express appreciation.
A final note on timing: My pricing structure is intended so that neither of us need to be watching the clock during your appointment. Timing may vary slightly depending on what we need to finish in the day and your comfort level/pain tolerance, in addition to other factors. I prepare all designs/plans in advance of our appointment and will be fully set up and ready to begin when you arrive. I do not differentiate between time spent sizing, stenciling, adjusting the design on the body, and tattooing. These are equally important parts of the artistic process that we will need to complete while we’re together - none of which can be rushed. I encourage clients to arrive, settle in, and be present for each step throughout the day, understanding that this process takes the time that it requires, no more, no less. I maintain a high level of efficiency in my tattooing and will be focused exclusively on our work throughout the duration of our session. I also do not recommend scheduling other activities immediately following your session, if possible.

Booking process and Faqs

Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required for each appointment booked. For small to medium sized tattoos, the deposit will be $100, for full-day sessions the deposit will be $200 for each day that is scheduled. The deposit will apply towards the total cost of the tattoo.

The following situations will result in a forfeiture of your deposit. In these cases, a new deposit will be required to re-book...

-
Rescheduling with less than 72 hours notice
-
Rescheduling more than once
-
Cancelling your appointment after booking
-
Not showing up on the day of your appointment (for any reason). In cases where a client does not show up for their appointment, and also does not call or email before the appointment time, re-booking will also not be an option.
What to expect when you arrive
-
I will have your design ready
-
We will sit together and go through it at which point I will be happy to make any adaptations you would like
-
We will size the design and fit it to the body, then apply the stencil.
-
For large scale projects, stencils are applied starting with foreground elements and ending with background elements. This will necessarily dictate the order in which we tattoo, meaning we most often cannot chose which area to begin with based on personal preferences.
-
-
After the stencil dries, we will begin tattooing.
-
Breaks
-
We will take short 5 minute breaks every 1-2 hours to stretch and hydrate to help you manage pain throughout the session. This makes a big difference when we get towards the end of the day.
-
We will take one longer 15 minute break in the afternoon for lunch.
-
We can always take additional breaks at your request if desired.
-
-
After we’ve finished for the day, I will wrap your tattoo and explain the ideal aftercare approach for your piece. This can vary between clients depending on the piece and your individual circumstances.

Do you send designs in advance?
I've found that sending digital designs does not fully communicate how they will look when printed at scale and placed on the body. With this in mind, I do not send any designs in advance of our appointment date. At our appointment, I will show you your design at size and walk you through how it will translate into a tattoo.

I always ensure that we have time together before we begin tattooing to fully discuss the design and am always happy to make any small adaptations that you would like.

Requests for large changes outside of what we discussed in our consultation or requests for a full redraw may require us to reschedule which will require an additional deposit.
Please understand that I take copious notes during consultations to ensure that I'm executing on our shared vision, and spend hours (and often days) turning our idea into a design. For this reason it's very important to come to the consultation prepared and share everything that's on your mind. Sharing the design in-person allows us to fully discuss it and decide on the best final adaptations together, if need be.

Thank you for understanding and honoring this process which I deeply believe leads to the most constructive collaborations and best final results.

What if I need to reschedule?
Please understand that rescheduling your appointment without advance notice most often presents a significant inconviennce and results in a loss of income since I only accept a limited number of projects each month and only work with one client in a day.
Of course, I also understand that plans sometimes change, so I just ask that if you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 72 hours prior to your appointment time. If you are able to reach out earlier, it would be greatly appreciated.
Rescheduling less than 72 hours prior to your appointment will result in a forfeiture of your deposit, and a new deposit will be required to re-book.
Rescheduling more than once (regardless of prior notice) will also result in a forfeiture of your deposit and a new deposit will be required to re-book.

I take my commitment to honor your appointment date and time very seriously and kindly ask that you do the same. Your understanding in this regard is very much appreciated.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
A tattoo can be compared to a medical procedure seeing as that your skin undergoes trauma as ink is injected. This means you'll want your body to be in ideal shape to heal prior to your appointment. To achieve this, please do the following prior to your appointment:

1) Get a good nights sleep
2) Hydrate! Aim to drink half your body weight in ounces in water daily leading up to your appointment.
3) Refrain from drinking alcohol the day before your appointment (minimum 24 hours before, preferably 2-3 days before)
4) Shower (both for my sake and so that you don't need to shower immediately after the tattoo appointment)
5) Avoid any heavy exercise that may cause shaking or muscle spasms.
6) Minimize caffeine on the day of your tattoo
7) Arrive a few minutes early so we can have a calm and relaxed day!
Do you do cover ups?
I will consider a limited number of cover ups, provided the requested design is in my style and within the comfort zone of what I feel I can successfully tattoo. Given that my work often uses finer lines and less shading, it will not lend itself to cover-ups in many situations. Regardless, I am always happy to discuss your unique situation regarding cover-ups with you. If you are requesting a cover-up, please email a picture of the existing design to me with any reference photos when you submit your booking request.

Do you tattoo anyone and how do you choose projects?
I tattoo all skin types, colors, and ages, and am committed to inclusivity amongst my clientele.
When I select projects, I look for those that are a match between what a client is looking for and what I feel passionate about stylistically. I've found that this intersection is the key place where magic happens.
In cases where I feel I'm not the right artist for your idea, I will happily recommend other artists that might better execute your vision (when possible).
I do not tattoo people under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent.
What tattoos are you currently most interested in?
At the moment, I'm prioritizing large-scale geometric (mandalas, patterns, tessellation) and floral projects including those that incorporate animal imagery. Please refer to my instagram for examples.

At the moment, I am only tattooing in black and grey inks.

How do I submit a request?
You can find instructions on how to submit a request on the "Booking" page of this website. Please review my portfolio before submitting your request to ensure that you're looking for something within my style of work.
